Did you know you can now record audio and video feedback directly inside Google Classroom?

The Feature: New for 2026, Google Classroom has a built-in Record button. Instead of typing a long paragraph of feedback, you can record a 30-second audio clip or a quick video walkthrough of a student’s work. This new feature allows us to sunset our subscription to Mote.

Here’s How: Open a student’s assignment. In the Private Comments box, click the new Microphone/Camera icon. Record your message and click Post.
