 The Feature: The "Convert to Video" feature in Google Vids uses Gemini AI to scan your slides, write a script for each one, and generate a professional AI voiceover to match. It’s perfect for creating asynchronous lessons or student project intros.

Here’s How: Open your Google Slide deck, go to File→Convert to Video. Select the slides you want to include, and Vids will automatically generate the scenes and voiceover. Or, go to Google Vids and select Convert Slides from the splash screen. (There's also a new Vids extension  you can add to Chrome (just like Screencastify) for even quicker access to screen recording.)
