Did you know next week is Digital Well-Being Week?

Indeed it is, and it comes at a great time! As we navigate the home stretch of the school year, we know that students’ digital habits can impact everything from their focus in class to their social-emotional health.

Next week (May 18–22), we are highlighting Digital Well-being Week. Our goal is simply to help students reflect on their relationship with technology and encourage healthy habits as they head into the summer
months.

How can you participate?
You don’t need to plan a full lesson! If you have a spare five minutes, consider:
  • A Quick Check-in: Ask students how they "recharge" without a screen. Or spend a few minutes
talking about this grade-level (elementary, middle, high) slide with your students.
  • Resource Sharing: Point middle and high school students toward this Student Guide to Digital Balance infographic
  • Modeling: Mention one way you’re personally "unplugging" this week to find balance.
Interested in more? Common Sense Media offers a variety to activities that could be adapted for your your students.

Thanks for helping our students finish the year with a mindful approach to their digital lives.
